Dr. Dietmar Scheiter
(1st Chairman) 

Dr. Dietmar Scheiter was born in 1958. After graduating from high school and training as an officer in the Bundeswehr, he studied business administration in Münster and St. Gallen. After two years of professional experience with an American management consultancy, he returned to St. Gallen to do his doctorate there. In 1988 he started his own business. At the end of 2005, he left the company that he had headed as CEO in recent years in order to found a holding company based in Grünwald.

On the voluntary work of Dr. Scheiter include the work for the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science and the local engagement in the community of his home town of Grünwald, in which he works as a member of the parish council and neighborhood aid. Since 2012 he has also been Honorary Consul of Sierra Leone in Bavaria.

Joachim Geitner
(2nd Chairman)  

Joachim Geitner was born in Memmingen in 1981. He studied business administration, IT and economics at the LMU Munich and the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduation, he worked as a consultant for one of the world's largest management consultancies, specializing in strategy consulting in the private, public sector and for non-governmental organizations. In 2010, together with a partner, he founded AZUBIYO, the leading portal for the search for training and dual study places in Germany. His specialist knowledge and young entrepreneurial perspective are of particular benefit to the association Für Sierra Leone e. V.

Dr. Petra Wibbe 
(Treasurer)  

Dr. Petra Wibbe was born in 1956. After graduating from high school, she studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and received her doctorate there in 1981. She has been admitted to the bar since 1982. She obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northwestern Law School in Chicago (1985) and worked for another year in a law firm in New York City after being admitted to the bar in New York State in 1985. Since joining the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs between 1987 and 1989, she has been an independent lawyer in Munich, specializing in company law and advising companies in the private equity business.
