Emergency Aid after the fire in Susan's Bay (2021)

Support of CARITAS' food supply for Susan's Bay fire victims.

At the end of March 2021, a fire broke out in Susan's Bay, destroying 400 houses. Many families (about 4,500 people) are now homeless and suffering from hunger. CARITAS decided to provide them with food and cooking utensils until the end of Ramadan. Initially, there were many donors, but the funds were cut towards the end of April. The association supported CARITAS with a considerable amount of money so that it can complete the provision of food to the burn victims in Susan's Bay in Freetown.
