At this point in time, 50 of the approximately 300 pupils taught had already lost one or both parents to Ebola. For the support of these orphans, the association Für Sierra Leone e. V. donated € 5,000.00 to the school. With these funds urgently needed food such as rice and clean water, hygiene items, clothing, but also school equipment and toys, among other things, could be distributed to the most affected pupils at Christmas. At the same time as the distribution of food, a health examination of the children was carried out, accompanied by an education about Ebola.
