Therapy Centre for traumatised young people
Don Bosco Fambul is building a Therapy Centre for traumatized young people in Baoma Village, near Freetown. There, street children, children with abuse experience or delinquent youths will be accommodated and receive psychological care. The main goal will be the rehabilitation of the young people and, if possible, the return to their families. The centre will open in 2020.
Für Sierra Leone e. V. has provided the financial means to build the water supply of New Fambul. With this, up to 320 children and young people can be supplied with fresh running water in the facility. Employees and the Salesians living on the property will also have access to fresh water.
